Shield Medicare's product range can be split into three distinct areas.

We have an extensive catalogue of cleanroom and critical area contamination control products, most notably the Premier Klercide range fitted with the patented SteriShield Delivery System including 70/30 blends of sterile alcohol, sterile sporicides and detergents.

Other key products include the Klercide Cleaning Systems, Klerwipe: sterile dry and impregnated wipes, Klerpack: Multi-Packs of syringes and other aseptic components and contamination control flooring.

This year, 100% polyester sterile impregnated and dry wipes, mop heads and isolator cleaning tool covers have been added to the range. Another recent innovation, which has been welcomed by the industry, is the availability of sterile pre-packed wipes in vaporised hydrogen peroxide proof packaging to reduce aeration times during decontamination cycles.

As Shield Medicare holds BS EN 46001 and the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC for the design, manufacture and distribution of sterile and non sterile cleanroom products and sterile medical devices, we can design, manufacture and CE mark medical devices.

We manufacture under our own brands a specialist range of medical devices including Zöellner fine ends, Klerzyme enzyme cleaners, tubing, slings, drapes and instrument protectors.

The high level of accreditation we have achieved creates the opportunity for us to undertake contract manufacture for third parties. This range of activity includes production of contamination control products and the assembly, packaging and CE marking of medical devices.

Many companies have already take advantage of this for the manufacture, packaging and CE marking of fluids and dry products.

We operate three class 10,000 (ISO class 7) cleanrooms in our facility in South Wales.
